Indices felt pressure at higher levels but managed to close on a positive note. Nifty closed above 17,800 and climbed 0.169 per cent. Meanwhile, Sensex surged 105 points while Nifty Midcap and Nifty Smallcap inched higher by 0.35 per cent & 0.06 per cent, respectively.  

Indices traded higher throughout the day as Nifty climbed 1.10 per cent while Sensex gained over 630 points. Nifty Midcap and Nifty Smallcap rose 0.19 per cent & 0.81 per cent, respectively.  

Indices traded with volatility throughout the day while Nifty closed higher by 0.37 per cent. Sensex gained about 237 points while Nifty Midcap and Nifty Smallcap witnessed heavy profit booking as they plunged 2.26 per cent & 3.20 per cent, respectively.  

Indices recovered to some extent but were unable to repair the damages that took place during the day. .

Indices traded lower throughout the day and Nifty plunged below 16,200. It closed lower by 1.68 per cent while Sensex tanked about 1,016 points.

Indices are trading higher amid volatility. Nifty has gained about a quarter per cent while Sensex climbed around 100 points.
