At 11.30 am on Thursday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading flat, owing to weak global cues.    

The shares in Asia Pacific markets are trading lower after Wall Street ended its five-day winning rally as Federal Reserve again warned that it will monitor the inflation data and market conditions closely in order to decide the next pace of tightening despite the cooling of inflation levels in the month of July.   

At market close on Friday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 ended on the higher side after RBI hiked the repo rate by 50 basis points as was expected by analysts & economists. The repo rate is at 5.40 per cent now whereas standard deposit facility (SDF) and marginal standing facility (MSF) rates stand at 5.15 per cent & 5.65 per cent, respectively.  

At 11 am on Tuesday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading marginally lower thereby, ending their consecutive gaining streak in the past five sessions.  

At 10.30 am on Thursday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading higher by almost a per cent each, despite the FED rate hikes.

Indices closed lower on Monday as Nifty fell 0.53 per cent while Sensex lost over 400 points. Nifty Midcap and Nifty Smallcap slipped 0.09 per cent & 0.58 per cent, respectively.

The US markets seem to recover past week's losses post a dismal inflation data report as the stock futures are gaining in the pre-market session.  

At 11.15 am on Friday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading marginally higher, as Markets are giving mixed reactions to the rising inflation. 

At 12.30 pm on Thursday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading flat, as Mainland China markets rose in Asia-Pacific on Thursday after Australia’s unemployment rate fell and Singapore tightened its monetary policy.  

At 12.30 pm on Wednesday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading marginally higher as shares in the Asia Pacific markets were slightly up. This took place on the back of China releasing its trade data and Bank of Korea as well as Reserve Bank of New Zealand hiking their interest rates by 50 basis points each. 

Around noon on Tuesday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading marginally lower as the US markets look ahead to what many expect will be the start of a volatile second-quarter earnings season this week
