Key Indian equity indices are likely to open with a gap on the lower side, tracking sell-off on the Wall Street as well as in the Asian markets, which are trading deep in the red. The SGX Nifty is pointing at Nifty opening with loss of 54 points at 10,566.

LIC Housing Finance company, which is one of the country’s largest HFC reported stellar performance in the quarter ended March 2018. The lower provisioning in the quarter aided in increasing profitability.

The NII for the quarter jumped significantly by 76 per cent yoy and 10 per cent qoq to Rs. 358 crore in Q4FY18 as against Rs. 325 crore in Q3FY18 and Rs. 203 crore in Q4FY17.

The highlight of the company's Q4 result was a consolidated PAT growth of four times on yoy basis.
