The construction arm of heavyweight Larsen & Toubro bagged orders worth Rs 2112 crore on Thursday. The company’s buildings and factories business secured orders worth Rs. 1565 crore, while its power transmission and distribution business won orders worth Rs 547 crore.

The share price of Eros International spiked approx 16 per cent on the bourses on an intraday basis on Thursday after the company reported consolidated net profit jump of 85.31 per cent at Rs. 58.69 crores for the fourth quarter ended March 31 against Rs. 31.67 crore during the previous fiscal year.

The share price of Ashoka Buildcon recorded a stark rise of over 4 per cent in the intraday trade on Thursday as the company announced that it has received an arbitral award of Rs. 383.3 crore on several claims filed by the company’s subsidiary.
