The stock markets will witness action-packed trading tomorrow as the RBI governor Urjit Patel has stepped down with immediate effect. The RBI governor's move coincides with the state elections results tomorrow.

The stocks most likely to witness significant movement on the bourses on December 11 are Lupin, Tata Motors, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Zensar Technologies and Titagarh Wagons.

Private banker Kotak Mahindra Bank has filed an appeal with the Bombay High Court against the Reserve Bank of India, contesting the regulator's decision on reduction of the bank's promoter shareholding.

Lupin has received tentative approval from USFDA to market Apixaban Tablets, 2.5 mg and 5 mg. The tablet is indicated to treat several ailments including reducing the risk of stroke and systemic embolism.

Tata Motors Group's global wholesales for the month was at 1,04,964 units in November, lower by 7 per cent on a YoY basis. This include Tata Motors passenger vehicles, Tata Motors commercial vehicles and Jaguar Land Rover.

The markets on December 10, 2018 opened gap down. BSE Sensex is trading at 35,033.70, down by 639.55 points and the Nifty is trading at 10,497.35, down by 196.35 points. 

Inflows to liquid funds helped the domestic AUM to again cross Rs. 24 lakh crore mark in November, while inflows to equity-dedicated funds declined.

Pharma major Alembic Pharmaceuticals received approval from the USFDA for Olopatadine Hydrochloride Ophthalmic Solution USP, 0.1%. The stocks gained around 2 per cent intraday post the news.
