FMCG giant and cigarette manufacturer ITC gave a slightly southward-titled horizontal trendline breakout at Rs 273 level today. It is the third consecutive uptick for the stock ahead of results which were posted today.

Nifty PSU Bank index has formed a 'falling wedge' pattern on the daily charts and witnessed has a breakout at 3650 on January 17. The breakout was after the index took support at 61.8 per cent retracement level which was also its 200 Days EMA support level.

EPC major Dilip Buildcon bagged an EPC project worth Rs. 360.58 crore from IRCON International for 40.37 km road construction in the state of Karnataka.

IT major Tech Mahindra on Thursday announced that it will acquire 17.5 per cent stake in Altiostar Networks, a US-based telecom software development company for US$15 million.

In a bid to improve indirect tax revenue, Union government revised GST rates on 82 items. The government also gave several clarifications on rates implied on various services.
