Government of India enterprise, Nalco, informed that it will create a JV with Mishra Dhatu Nigam for manufacturing of aluminium alloy plates and sheets, on Thursday after market hours.

The auto components company withdrew plans to start the proposed tyre manufacturing business. Reacting to this development, the stock recovered more than 10 per cent from its 52-week low on Friday.

If Nifty is able to sustain above the 11,080 level, it is probably heading towards the zone of 11,135-11,163, where it may find resistance as it is the confluence of 200-DMA and 38.2 per cent retracement of the current fall. Going by early indication of SGX Nifty, the market is set to smile at the start. At the time of writing, SGX Nifty is trading up by 5 points at the 11,076 mark.

Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) has launched two Ro Pax vessels designed and built for Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI). These vessels launched are the third and fourth vessels in the series of 10 vessels order from IWAI.
