The markets on July 17, 2018 opened up. BSE Sensex is trading at 36,359.15, up by 35.38 points and the Nifty is trading at 10,967.55, up by 30.70 points. 

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals received the final approval for Colesevelam Hydrochloride oral suspension from the US drug regulator. Also, the company has completed the formalities for the acquisition of Pune-based firm, Zorg Labs.

Monday’s session low (10,926) would be a crucial level for the coming session as this level is near about the May high of 10,929. However, a fall below this level would lead to a further decline up to the level of 10,879, which is 38.2 per cent retracement of the recent upmove, followed by 10,833 level, which is an important short-term moving average, i.e. 20-day EMA. Indian equities are expected to open lower amid negative global cues. The Nifty 50 index future on the Singapore stock exchange is currently trading down by 10 points at 10,936.
