The markets on July 25, 2018 opened gap up. BSE Sensex is trading at 36,918.39, up by 93.29 points and the Nifty is trading at 11,150.85, up by 16.55 points. 

Global Aviation software provider, Ramco Systems has secured an order from one of the leading Defense Contractors, informed the company through a filing to the exchange. The order intake of the company stood at around US$104 million up 21 per cent in FY18.

Now that the Nifty has surpassed the resistance level of 11,120, it is now heading towards its all-time high level of 11,172. Stocks in news: Indo Amines, Andhra Bank, Satin Creditcare Network, Gujarat Sidhee Cement, Oil India and ICICI Bank. 

Today, the start is likely to be mildly positive as cues from Asian markets are supportive. The SGX Nifty, which was trading up by 10 points at 11,152, indicated that domestic bourses may witness a positive opening. With over 20 firms set to report their quarterly earnings today, the action could be stock-specific, with big names such as Bharti Infratel, Hero Motocorp and Larsen & Toubro announcing their results today.  

Thirumalai Chemicals posted subdued results for the quarter ended by Q1FY19. The top-line recorded a steady decline over the previous year.

The company reported weak numbers for Q1FY19 with top-line and bottom-line declined substantially.

Considering the monthly time frame, Mid-cap index has bounced back from near the 50 per cent retracement of the prior upward rally and registered its third consecutive uptick on daily time frame. 15750-15790 will act as major resistance may be for giving bottoming out signal. 17030-17060 will act as trend reversal.
