India markets are likely to open a tad higher on Tuesday as cues from Asian peers are lacklustre. The SGX Nifty Index Future, which was trading at 10,585, suggests Nifty may open with an uptick of 25 points. On the earnings front, Voltas, Manappuram Finance, Aditya Birla Capital, Dr Lal Path Labs will release their results today.  

The country’s largest lender State Bank of India posted Q2FY19 results on Monday  with a 40.26 per cent YoY fall in standalone profit at Rs 944.87 crore for quarter ended September 30 from Rs 1,581.55 crore during same quarter  last year. 

JB Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals have received US FDA ANDA approval for their Midodrine Hydrochloride Tablets USP 2.5 mg, 5 mg and 10 mg. The same would be used for the treatment of orthostatic hypotension.

The following stocks could be in focus in Tuesday’s trading session in light of their results: Graphite, Dr. Lal PathLabs, Manappuram Finance,Voltas and Cupid.

Pharma major Lupin announced receiving the approval for its Doxercalciferol Injection, 4 mcg/2 mL (2 mcg/mL) multi-dose vials from USFDA. 

The stock of Shivam Autotech opened today at Rs. 48.15 and touched intraday high of Rs. 50.40 per share. During Monday’s entire trading session the stock remained flat and closed at Rs. 49 apiece as against previous close of Rs. 48.90.

Stocks most likely to witness significant movement on the bourses on November 6 are Bosch, Lupin, Gulf Oil Lubricants, Exide Industries and GAIL.

Eveready Industries India Limited reported its results for the quarter ended September 30, 2018 during market hours on Monday. The standalone numbers were largely negative due to impact on top line as well as on the operational front.

NATCO Pharma Limited reported its results for the quarter ended September 30, 2018 during market hours on Monday.
