Going ahead, the 200-day moving average is likely to act as a strong support for the index, a sustainable breach of the 200-day moving average would lead to extended correction towards the level of 10,700. Indian stocks are likely to witness a gap down opening following weakness seen across Asian markets and US equity futures pointed to a substantial fall on the Wall Street. The SGX Nifty Index Future has declined 83 points, indicating Nifty may open around the 10,750 level.
