Bodal Chemical on Wednesday informed the bourses that it is planning to acquire 80 per cent stake in Turkey-based company called Sener Bova Kimya Tekstil Sanayi Ve Ticaret Ltd. 

The stock exchange company BSE Limited celebrated the event of Sensex crossing 40,000 level on Thursday. In the early morning session as the trends for Lok Sabha elections 2019 indicated that the ruling BJP-led alliance NDA will return to power with majority, the index broke its psychological barrier of 40,000 level.

Market ended a very busy day in negative territory on Thursday. Swaying up and down as election results trends showed a clear majority for the Narendra Modi-led NDA alliance, the indices breached the psychological levels of 40,000 and 12,000 on Sensex and Nifty, respectively, but closed in red.

More than 600 million Indians voted over the last six weeks and now the Narendra Modi-led NDA has secured a majority by leading around 298 seats.

Zydus Cadila informed the bourses that it has received final approval from the USFDA to market Esomeprazole Magnesium Delayed-Release Capsule, 25 mg and 40 mg. The said tablet is used to treat certain stomach and esophagus problems like acid reflux, ulcers.

The markets on May 23, 2019 opened gap up. BSE Sensex is trading at 39,366.97, up by 256.76 points and the Nifty is trading at 11,827.10, up by 89.20 points.
