The Indian rupee weakened against US dollar due to the surge in crude oil prices amid reports that Iranian Major-General, Qassem Soleimani, and Iraqi militia commander, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, were killed in an air strike on their convoy at Baghdad airport.
