As many as 467 stocks managed to make fresh 52 week high on Wednesday while at least 16 stocks traded at their respective 52-week lows.

BSE Small Index corrected by more than 1 percent when the BSE Sensex scaled to fresh highs on Wednesday. IIFL Wealth Management was the top BSE Small Cap Index gainer on Wednesday, after the company posted the best quarter profits in its history.

Even as the large caps outperformed , some of the low priced stocks were seen locked in the upper circuit.

While the Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex made all time high on Wednesday and the financial stocks hogged the limelight,  investors were seen struggling as the broader markets underperformed.
