The NIFTY FMCG index is at all-time highs with several FMCG stocks trading at fresh 52-week highs.

Exide Industries, a top midcap buzzer of the past one week gained by more than 20 per cent in the past one week as the company announced it will divest its stakes in its subsidiary Exide Life to HDFC Life. Several midcap stocks were seen making fresh 52 week high in the passing week.

BSE IT index gained 1.34 per cent in the past one week and features amongst the worst performing sectoral index on bourses. In one month, the BSE IT index is up by ~9 per cent. 

The stocks from the chemical sector were seen trending higher along with the markets with few top gainers strengthening higher by more than 10 per cent each in one week alone.

The IT stocks, realty stocks, consumer durables stocks, capital goods stocks and FMCG stocks were seen shining on bourses in the past one week. 

Kolte Patil Developers was seen making a fresh 52 week high this week.

The realty stocks made a come back while Telcom stocks contributed to the market gains in a big way. Consumer Durables and Oil & Gas stocks managed to outperform BSE Sensex.
