On an MTD basis, the stock is up by 3.56 per cent while on a YTD basis, it is up by 44 per cent. 

December 08 – JBM Auto board to mull stock split 

BSE SmallCap index outperformed after it gained by 1.25 per cent. Metal stocks staged a rally by inching higher by 1.15 per cent. BSE Healthcare index was down by 1.86 per cent.

The IT shares were seen outperforming in the week gone by, as is reflected by the gains in the BSE IT index which is up by more than 3.58 per cent.

The BSE SmallCap index was up by 0.33 per cent while BSE Midcap index closed flat. Vodafone Idea was the top mid cap index gainer followed by AB Capital and Indian Hotels. Rajesh Exports was the top loser.

Nifty crossed its prior day high early in the day and had also, registered an intraday high of 17,489.80; however, at higher levels, profit booking was witnessed and this profit booking exuberated as the day progressed. As a result, Nifty not only lost about 300 points from the high point of the day but also, ended the day below the 17,200 mark with a loss of over 1 per cent.

On the last day of the week, after a higher opening, the benchmarks indices failed to sustain the higher level and showed profit booking with Sensex settling at 57,696.46 level, lower by 1.31 per cent whereas Nifty ending at 17,196.70, down by 1.18 per cent.
