F&O cues are suggesting 18,000 will continue to act as a strong resistance this week for Nifty 50. 

The company announced the resumption in the trading of renewable energy certificates (REC) with effect from November 24 after a gap of almost 16 months. The last REC trade session took place in June 2020.

SEBI has worked with all the MIIs to make this a memorable and enriching week for all investors.

The stock gained nearly 3 per cent and closed above the 47 mark. The bulk of the gains was witnessed in the last hour of the trade along with a mammoth jump in the volumes as well.   

Given the fact that the market made a strong recovery from the lower levels, it would be interesting to know which stocks have witnessed recovery from the day’s low.

The shares of Vedanta, Vodafone Idea, Hatsun Agro, Engineers India, Solar Industries and Godrej industries were seen trading higher on a weak market day, also witnessing a spurt in volume.

On Monday, frontline indices Nifty 50 and Sensex corrected by 1.82 per cent each to close at 17,441 and 58,543.79 respectively. Nifty IT index fell by 474.60 points i.e. 1.32 per cent. BSE Smallcap index underperformed broader markets, descending 2.83 per cent.  

All hopes were dashed in the initial hour of the trading itself as markets fell like a house of cards. The fall was so severe that Nifty witnessed one of the biggest single-day falls in the near term.

Laurus Labs has signed an investment agreement with Immunoadoptive Cell Therapy Private Limited (ImmunoACT), an advanced cell and gene therapy company to acquire a 26.62 per cent stake (fully diluted basis) for a cash consideration of approximately Rs 46 crore, subject to the fulfilment of certain conditions. 

Few penny stocks are seen outperforming the markets on Monday.
