Several policy initiatives by the GoI are helping textile companies turnaround their business operations. The export markets are also seen improving for several textile companies.

The BSE Sensex gained by more than 1000 points even as the broader markets underperformed. The shares of Ramky Infra, Patel Engineering and Hindustan Copper gained by more than 10 per cent in Tuesday trading session.
