The broader markets managed to outperform the frontline indices on Wednesday. Several Penny Stocks gained with spike in volumeon Wednesday.

The domestic benchmark indices have portrayed a mixed performance in Wednesday's trading session. In the broader markets, BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices gained 0.5 per cent each. Oil & gas along with power stocks experienced a rally on Wednesday.  

As we know, the last 15-16 months have been fabulous for the markets. As many as 150 stocks made their fresh 52 week high while at least 444 stocks were locked in the upper circuit on Wednesday. 

The broader markets are seen outperforming the frontline gauge with Nifty Midcap and Smallcap index trading higher by 0.07 per cent & 0.59 per cent, respectively.   

The share price of Kaveri Seeds is down by 5 per cent in past one year while in the past one month the stock is down by more than 13 per cent. In 2021 however the stock is up by more than 17 per cent.

On BSE, the stock hit Rs 492.95 per share on BSE, as against the listing price of Rs 405.65 per share, an increase of 21.5 per cent 

The market opened in green on August 25, 2021, overall volumes in futures & options currently stand at 5,91,37,655 contracts with a turnover of Rs. 51,14,351.10 crore.
