The benchmark indices have ended the trading session in red amid the F&O expiry. Sensex ended at 59126.36 levels and Nifty settled at 17618.20 levels. 

JMC Projects, a company engaged in civil and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects today announced order wins amounting to Rs 1,849 crore for two projects: B&F Projects in India of Rs 857 crore and social housing project in Maldives of Rs 992 crore.

Shares of IT services provider Persistent Systems were trading higher by 4 per cent intraday on Wednesday after the company entered into an agreement to acquire US-based Software Corporation International (SCI) and its affiliate, Fusion360, and the business of East Brunswick, New Jersey-based Shree Partners including its subsidiary in India. 

At present, this project has a PPA life of about 22 years. AREMHL shall acquire this SPV at an enterprise valuation of Rs 219 crore.
