Owing to positive global cues, the domestic benchmark indices managed to close on a green note despite erasing morning gains during the afternoon session. BSE Sensex travelled back to end at 59,793, gaining 105 points or 0.18 per cent whereas Nifty 50 settled at 17,833, higher by 35 points or 0.19 per cent.  

On Friday, Sensex recorded gains of 0.18 per cent to close at 59,793.14.

On Friday, Indian equity markets closed with positive developments. 

Indices traded firm ahead of the closing bell. S&P BSE Sensex rallied 104 points and ended at a level of 59,793.14. Similarly, Nifty 50 index climbed 34 points to reach 17,833.35 points.

Indices felt pressure at higher levels but managed to close on a positive note. Nifty closed above 17,800 and climbed 0.169 per cent. Meanwhile, Sensex surged 105 points while Nifty Midcap and Nifty Smallcap inched higher by 0.35 per cent & 0.06 per cent, respectively.  

Some significant changes have also been implemented. The circuit limit of certain stocks has been revised on Friday i.e., September 9, 2022. If you are holding the below-mentioned stocks, take note of this.  

The company started as a division of Asian Paints in the early 1980s and now has been established as a strong player in the rubber industry. It produces a range of latexes for various residential and industrial sectors like automotive components, heavy engineering, paints, textile, etc.

Shares opened at Rs 409.45, up by 11 per cent from the previous trading session. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs 465.
