The market opened in green on June 3, 2021, overall volumes in futures & options currently stand at 4,37,41,914 contracts with a turnover of Rs. 43,28,023.26 crore.

Sensex is up during today's morning session by nearly 300 points. While the advance-decline ratio is in favour of advances in the morning session, Indiabulls Real Estate is seen sizzling on the bourses by recording gains of more than 6 per cent.  
 

Interestingly, the volatility index i.e. India VIX has plunged a whopping 9.5 per cent and it is seen trading below the 16 mark.  Barring Nifty Auto, all other indices were trading in the green, with Nifty Realty leading from the front.

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd announced today that one of its wholly-owned subsidiaries has entered into a licence agreement with Ferring Pharmaceuticals Private Limited, a subsidiary of Switzerland-based biopharmaceuticals MNC Ferring Pharmaceuticals, to commercialise a room temperature stable (RTS) formulation of the obstetric drug, CARITEC (Carbetocin RTS) in India.  

The shares of Ratnamani Metals & Tubes Ltd (RMTL) were trading in the green on Wednesday after the company announced that it has secured an order for carbon steel pipes worth Rs 81.79 crore.
