On account of strong advances and deposit figures, the shares of IndusInd Bank are 3.32 per cent higher on July 4.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 25 per cent.

Bank Nifty has closed flat to negative on a weekly basis. On the weekly chart, it has formed a bearish candle as its closing was below the opening level but carries a long lower shadow, which indicates buying demand at lower levels.

BSE Smallcap index bucked the trend to close in the green territory with gains of 0.09 per cent.
