The IPO price was 56 per share and the shares of VOL were listed at Rs 111.70 per share on Thursday trading session.

Top large-cap gainers of the day comprise Maruti Suzuki, Eicher Motors, Adani Ports, NTPC and Grasim. Heavy buying was seen in power stocks.

The domestic equity benchmarks continued their downward journey and closed in the red on September 15.

At day end  on Thursday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 closed the session on the steeper side, owing to inflation fears and weaker sentiments in Asia Pacific markets.  

As a result of a surge in the volume of more than 144 times, PVR emerged as a stock with the highest turnover of the session.  

On Thursday, Indian equity markets ended on a weak note.

Sensex closed 412.96 points or 0.68 per cent, down at 59,934 level while Nifty shed 126.40 points or 0.70 per cent, ending at 17,877.40.
