At 10:39 a.m., the Sensex has dropped 226 points, trading at a level of 57,996 points.

The overall tractor sales in CY22 in the first nine months were nearly 5.16 lakh units. The monthly sales have been in excess of 50,000 units, barring the month of August 2022.  

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in the red territory with a loss of 241.2 points or 0.41 per cent.

The domestic markets traded on a volatile note in Thursday's trading session as investors adjusted their positions amid weekly F&O expiry. BSE Sensex traded within a range of 405 points and closed at 58,222 level, gaining 157 points or 0.27 per cent.
