Persistent Systems plans to join IBM Automation Foundation to manage mission-critical workloads

Persistent Systems announced that it intends to join IBM’s ecosystem of partners using IBM’s new automation foundation and IBM Cloud Paks for automation.  

This decision will be beneficial for managing and modernising mission-critical workloads over hybrid cloud environments. IBM Cloud Paks for automation is described as an AI-powered portfolio, which caters to the customers' needs by helping them streamline business processes, automate tasks based on data analysis and improve workflows that run centrally, in networks, and at the edge. It is built on Red Hat OpenShift, which offers enterprises a portable and flexible path to optimisation by automating businesses as well as IT processes to boost growth.  

For a decade, Persistent has been an important development, support & deployment partner for IBM automation portfolio, which includes IBM Cloud Pak for business automation and IBM robotic process automation (RPA). The company's automation expertise makes it easy for clients to deploy AI & automation in hybrid cloud environments and achieve their process automation goals.

Today, the stock market is closed on the occasion of Id-Ul-Fitr (Ramzan Eid). However, on Wednesday, the share of Persistent Systems Ltd closed at Rs 2,224.45, which is 3.75 per cent down on BSE.
