Despite initial struggles to gain momentum in early trades, domestic indices ultimately concluded today's trading session significantly higher, thanks to the closing rally driven by the IT, auto, and capital goods sectors. The BSE Sensex soared 0.74 per cent to 73,158 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index climbed 0.74 per cent to a level of 22,217.

Sundaram Multi Pap Ltd: Shares experienced a fourfold increase in trading volume, climbing by over 13 per cent to close the trading session at Rs 3.53 per share on the BSE. The company operates in the school & office stationery and e-learning sectors.

Softrak Venture Investment Ltd: Shares, witnessing a 56-fold surge in trading volume, were locked at the 10 per cent upper circuit, reaching Rs 7.60 per share on the BSE. The company specializes in the information technology services, offering tailored software solutions based on various technologies.

Agio Paper & Industries Ltd: Shares persisted in reaching new 52-week highs on the bourses, remaining locked at the 10 per cent upper circuit, trading at Rs 5.80 on the BSE today. The company specializes in the manufacturing of writing & printing paper, which finds applications in books, textbooks, brochures, pamphlets, and various other materials.
