On Wednesday, Indian equity markets ended on a positive note. Nifty50 closed at 17,080.70, up by 0.76 per cent, while both Mid-Cap index and Small-Cap index performed positively on broader markets. 

The following penny stocks are likely to be in focus on Friday, March 31, 2023:    

Syncom Formulations (India) - Heavy buying interest was witnessed in the counter as the scrip surged and got locked at 20 per cent upper circuit, recording an intraday high of Rs 6.00 per share on NSE. Syncom Formulations is a global pharmaceutical company that manufactures and markets a broad range of healthcare products. 

Suzlon Energy- Heavy buying interest was witnessed in the counter as the scrip surged more than 14.8 per cent, recording an intraday high of Rs 8.10 per share on NSE. Suzlon Energy is primarily engaged in the business of manufacturing of wind turbine generators (WTGs) and related components of various capacities. 

Future Consumer- A solid price volume break-out was seen at the counter today as the stock rallied more than 11 per cent to record an intraday high of Rs 0.5 per share. Future Consumer is engaged in the business of sourcing, manufacturing, branding, marketing and distribution of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), food and processed food products in urban and rural India.
