Auto and realty stocks recorded healthy gains despite high volatilty on Monday

On Monday, Indian equity markets witnessed a choppy trading session. Nifty 50 closed at 18,202.8 up by 0.47 per cent i.e. 85.65 points. Mid-Cap and Small-Cap stocks outperformed broader markets. Auto and realty stocks recorded healthy gains despite high volatilty. 

The following penny stocks are likely to be in focus on Wednesday, November 9, 2022:    

DCM Financial Services – The stock saw heavy buying interest, hitting an upper price band and recording an intra-day high of Rs 5.85 per share on NSE. The counter has witnessed back-to-back upper circuits for the last 2 sessions. The company offers services such as equipment leasing, hire-purchase, inter-corporate deposits, bill discounting, etc.    

AJR Infra & Tolling – The company’s stock witnessed a solid price volume break out and rallied 3.45 per cent to freeze at an upper price band of Rs 1.50 per share on the bourses. The company is an infrastructure project development company participating in the development of infrastructure projects on a public-private partnership (PPP) basis with a diverse portfolio across the road, power and port sectors.  

Andhra Cements – Only buyers were seen in the scrip today. The stock got locked at a 5 per cent upper circuit, recording an intra-day high of Rs 7.20 per share. The company is in the business of cement production and is a part of the Jaypee Group. It has two manufacturing plants situated in Andhra Pradesh. The company has been undergoing insolvency proceedings, while Sagar Cements and Dalmia Cement (India) seem to be the front-runners for acquiring the company. The scrip has gained 14.78 per cent over the last five trading sessions.
