On Thursday, Indian equity markets closed on a weak note with negative developments. Nifty 50 ended in the red territory at 17,014 with losses of 0.64 per cent. Mid-Cap stocks underperformed broader markets. Top performing sectors include Metal and Healthcare. All other sectors recorded losses. 

The following penny stocks are likely to be in focus on Friday, October 14, 2022:  

National Steel and Agro Industries - Only buyers were seen in the scrip today. The stock got locked at a 5 per cent upper circuit, recording an intra-day high of Rs 12.65 per share on BSE. Hitting back-to-back upper circuits, the stock has rallied 28.36 per cent over the last five trading sessions. Incorporated in 1985, the company is engaged in the manufacturing and export of steel. 

PVP Ventures - The stock got locked in a 5 per cent upper circuit and hit an intra-day high of Rs 8.80 per share on NSE. The company is engaged in the business of developing urban infrastructure & investments in various ventures.   

Symbiox Investment & Trading Co – The stock froze at a 5 per cent upper circuit, recording an intra-day high of Rs 7.54 per share on BSE. The scrip has rallied 21.03 per cent in the last five trading sessions. The company is mainly into trading in investments & textiles. It has a wide variety of sarees from plain-to-be to cater to the growing industry and offer its products to all the age groups.
