On Friday, Indian equity markets closed on a strong note post RBI’s 50 basis point rate hike. Nifty 50 and Sensex recorded gains of 1.64 per cent and 1.80 per cent to end at 17,094.3 and 57,426.9, respectively. 

The following penny stocks are likely to be in focus on Monday, October 3, 2022:  

Nyssa Corporation - Only buyers were seen in the scrip on Friday. The stock got locked at a 10 per cent upper circuit, recording an intra-day high of Rs 7.60 per share on BSE. The company is engaged in real estate development and trading & investment activities. The company is debt-free and trades at a PE of 11. 

Tarai Foods – Shares of the company locked at a 5 per cent upper circuit, recording a fresh intra-day high of Rs 6.44 per share on BSE on Friday. The company manufactures fresh, frozen and canned fruits & vegetables for domestic consumption. 

Oil Country Tubular - Only buyers were seen in the scrip on Friday. The stock has hit back-to-back upper circuit in the last few trading sessions and today also locked at a 5 per cent upper circuit, recording a fresh 52-week high of Rs 17 per share on NSE. Incorporated in 1985, the company is engaged in the manufacturing of casing, tubing and drill pipe which are used in the drilling and exploration of oil and gas.
