Mid-cap and Small-cap stocks outperformed broader markets today

On Tuesday, Indian equity markets ended on a flat note after a volatile session. Nifty 50 and Sensex closed with marginal losses of 0.05 per cent and 0.07 per cent respectively. Mid-Cap and Small-Cap stocks outperformed broader markets today. 

The following penny stocks are likely to be in focus on Wednesday, September 28, 2022:   

Hindustan Construction Company - Only buyers were seen in the scrip today. The stock locked at a 20 per cent upper circuit, recording a fresh 52-week high of Rs 14.60 per share on NSE. The company is principally engaged in the business of providing engineering and construction services, real estate, infrastructure and urban development and management.

Oil Country Tubular - Only buyers were seen in the scrip today. The stock locked at a 5 per cent upper circuit, recording an intra-day high of Rs 14.60 per share on NSE. The company has a market cap of Rs 62 crore. Incorporated in 1985, the company is engaged in the manufacturing of casing, tubing and drill pipe which are used in the drilling and exploration of oil and gas.

ECS Biztech - Shares of the company locked at a 5 per cent upper circuit, recording a fresh intra-day high of Rs 6.09 per share on BSE. The scrip has rallied 11.74 per cent in the last five trading sessions. The company provides customer-centric technology solutions and services through the best environment-friendly practices.
