Nifty 50 staged a decent recovery to close at 18,003.7, down by 0.37 per cent.

On Wednesday, Indian equity markets experiences a volatile trading session. Nifty 50 staged a decent recovery to close at 18,003.7, down by 0.37 per cent. Mid-Cap and Small-Cap stocks relatively outperformed broader markets. Heavy selling was witnessed in IT stocks as well. 

The following penny stocks are likely to be in focus on Thursday, September 15, 2022:  

Excel Realty N Infra – The shares of the company froze at a 5 per cent upper circuit, closing at an intraday high of Rs 7.95 per share on NSE. Incorporated in 2003, the company is engaged in the development of infrastructure facilities, IT-enabled BPO services, and general trading activities. With IT stocks heavily underperforming the broader markets today, this IT stock witnessed strong buyer interest. The company is debt-free and is trading close to 0.5 times its book value.  

Khoobsurat Only buyers were seen in this counter while the stock got locked at an upper price band of Rs 2.33 per share on BSE, recording gains of 9.91 per cent. Besides, it has gained 20.73 per cent in the last five trading sessions.  

PVP Ventures – The stock got locked in a 5 per cent upper circuit of Rs 8.21 per share on BSE for the second straight day in a row. The company is engaged in the business of developing urban infrastructure & investments in various ventures.
