Nifty 50 ended the session at 17,786.80 up by 0.28 per cent

On Friday, Indian equity markets saw a recovery from day's low towards the end of the session. Nifty 50 ended the session at 17,786.80 up by 0.28 per cent. Mid-Cap and Small-Cap stocks underperformed broader markets.  

The following penny stocks are likely to be in focus on Monday, October 31, 2022:    

Ankit Metal & Power - Only buyers were seen in the scrip today. The stock got locked at a 20 per cent upper circuit, recording an intra-day high of Rs 6.46 per share on BSE. The scrip has rallied 18.52 per cent in the last five trading sessions. The company is engaged in manufacturing of iron ore pellets, sponge iron, MS billets, re- rolled products with a captive power plant (CPP). 

Picturehouse Media - Shares of the company locked at a 5 per cent upper circuit, recording an intra-day high of Rs 8.82 per share on BSE. The stock has hit back to upper circuit over the last few trading sessions. Incorporated in 2000, the company is engaged in the business of movie production, financing and related activities.
