Majority large-cap stocks were in a downward trend. However, mid-cap and small-cap stocks outperformed broader markets.

On Tuesday, Indian equity markets closed on a  sombre note in the red terrritory. Majority Large-Cap stocks were in a downward trend. However, Mid-Cap and Small-Cap stocks outperformed broader markets, recording decent gains. 

The following penny stocks are likely to be in focus on Thursday, September 8, 2022:    

Sambhaav Media  The shares of the company froze at 20 per cent to hit an intraday high of Rs 5.40 per share on NSE. Only buyers were seen in the scrip. The stock zoomed 52.11 per cent over the last five trading sessions. The company is engaged in the business of print media in the form of newspaper & magazine publications, audio-video media in the form of the public entertainment system, TV channels along with digital media by way of online portals. 

AJR Infra & Tolling – The company’s stock rallied 8.33 per cent to freeze at an upper price of Rs 1.95 per share on the bourses. Over the last five trading sessions, the scrip has rallied 30 per cent. It is an infrastructure project development company participating in the development of infrastructure projects on a public-private partnership (PPP) basis with a diverse portfolio across the road, power, and port sectors.
