Penny stocks 3i Infotech, RCOM, RTN Power hit upper circuit; LG Bros top small cap gainer as BSE Smallcap Index outperforms

3i Infotech was seen trading at a multiyear high after giving a breakout.

Frontline indices saw profit booking in the morning session taking cues from the global markets. However, the advance decline ratio remained in the favor of advances on Thursday trading session.  As many as 268 stocks hit upper circuit on intraday basis while 115 stocks hit lower circuit on BSE, while 315 stocks hit a fresh 52-week high on Thursday.  

3i Infotech was seen trading at a multiyear high after giving a breakout.RCOM is locked in upper circuit carrying the positive momentum in the ADAG group stocks. RattanIndia Power, a constituent of BSE Smallcap index, formerly known as Indiabulls Power is also locked in the upper circuit. 

LG Balakrishnan & Bros up by more than 12 per cent, is the top gainer on BSE Smallcap index. ITDC, Sharda Motors, Centrum, SREI Infra and Somany Ceramics are all seen trading with gains of more than 10 per cent each on intraday basis on Thursday. BF Utilities is up by close to 10 per cent. 

Sensex has recovered from its early losses and is trading down by losses of less than 100 points.
