On January 20, 2023, the company informed in the exchange filing that GPT Infraprojects Limited has bagged an order valued at Rs 270 crore. The order involves the construction of a rail flyover between Allahabad - Bamhrauli comprising of earthwork, pile foundation, composite steel girder, RCC deck slabs, ROB, utilities shifting and other allied works in connection with the construction of RFO -2 (Phase -2) under North Central Railway (NCR) Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
GPT, incorporated in 1980, operates through two business divisions - Infrastructure and Sleepers. The company made inroads into the infrastructure segment in 2004 and is now an established railway-focused player. The company is engaged in the execution of civil and infrastructure projects, especially large bridges and ROBs for Railways. In Sleepers, the company manufactures and supplies concrete sleepers for Railways in India and Africa.
Today, the stock opened at Rs 54.95 with a high and low of Rs 59.00 and Rs 53.80. The stock closed trading at Rs 58.00, up by 5.94 per cent. The BSE group 'B' stock has a face value of Rs 10.00.
