Pennar Industries has won orders worth Rs. 317 crore
Pennar group’s flagship company, Pennar Industries has received multiple orders totaling up to Rs 190 crore across its business segments.
Pennar industries, across its business verticals such as railways, tubes and industrial components has received orders worth Rs 190 crore from Soils Engineering, JM Infratech, IFB, Ashok Leyland, Tecumseh, Wabco, Mahindra, Salem Steel, etc. On the other hand, Pennar’s subsidiary, Pennar Engineered Buildiing Systems (PEBS Pennar) has received Rs 127 crore orders from Pokarna Limited, Gemini Oils, Suguna Foods, Rain CII, Twenty One Sugars, Aequs SEZ, etc.
The shares of the company on winning the orders were trading almost 5 per cent high intraday but have settled 0.62 per cent down at the closing bell.
On Thursday, the shares of Pennar Industries opened at Rs. 38.15 per share against Wednesday’s close of Rs. 37.95 on the BSE. The shares of the company however went down by 0.62 per cent and reached Rs. 37.80. The intraday high was Rs 40.40 and intraday low was Rs. 37.60 per share on the BSE. Its 52-week high was Rs. 79 and 52-week low was Rs. 34 per share on the BSE. Pennar Engineered Building Systems closed 2.15 per cent up at Rs 59.30.
Meanwhile, both the the benchmark indices closed on a negative note.The BSE Sensex closed at 34981.02, down by 0.62 per cent and NIFTY50 stood at 10,526.75 level, down by 0.69 per cent.
