Parag Milk reports healthy Q2FY19 numbers
Parag Milk’s consolidated revenue for the second quarter of FY19 grew by almost 14 per cent yoy to Rs. 573.48 crore. The company stated that this was driven by an increase in revenue from Milk Products of 14.3 per cent yoy, continued focus on execution excellence and commencement of commercial production at Sonipat Plant.
The share of Milk Products for Q2FY19 is 68.6 per cent of total revenue, while that of Liquid milk was 18.4 per cent and the same for skimmed milk powder was 11.6 per cent.
The company’s EBITDA for the quarter was up by almost 15 per cent yoy to Rs. 58.11 crore. EBITDA margins for the period remained flat at 10.1 per cent.
Net profit for Q2FY19 grew by almost 22 per cent yoy to Rs. 30.43 crore. Also, its net profit margin improved to 5.3 per cent from 4.9 per cent in Q2FY18.
