Parag Milk Food to commence its plant at Sonipat
Parag Milk Food, a dairy FMCG company has informed bourses on Wednesday that it will begin production process in its plant installed at the Sonipat, Haryana by end of this week. The company also stated that it has competed all regulatory requirements related to its recent acquisition of Danone Foods and Beverages India Pvt Ltd., the local entity of French dairy firm Danone SA’s manufacturing facility. With this acquisition to company’s fresh category distribution in North and East will strengthen. Further, the company is likely to commence the supply of fresh curd to the nearby markets of Delhi-NCR.
The company also stated that it also plans to revamp the new facility with additional facilities by installing processing units for pouch milk, flavoured milk, pouch butter milk, cup curd, misthi doi as well as expand the existing yoghurt facility. Thereon, the company will begin to supply these products to the North and East markets as well.
Parag Milk is one of the largest private dairy FMCG company know for its brads like Go”, “Gowardhan”, “Pride of Cows”, “Avvatar”, “Topp Up”, “Slurp” and “Milkrich”.
At 1.20 hours the stock was trading at positive mark of Rs. 297.3 per share, up by 1.1 per cent from previous close of Rs. 294.2.
