Nifty 50 closed at 17,094.3 with healthy gains of 1.64 per cent

The Indian equity markets cheered on Friday as the 50-basis point rate hike by RBI was in-line with expectations. Nifty 50 closed at 17,094.3 with healthy gains of 1.64 per cent. The Top Gainers of the index include Hindalco, Bharti Airtel, IndusInd Bank, and Bajaj Finance. Private banks, metals, consumer durables, and realty stocks outperformed the broader markets.     

Keep an eye on these stocks for Monday's trading session –    

Bharti Airtel – The shares of the company rallied 6 per cent to record a fresh 52-week high of Rs 808.85, ahead of the launch of the company’s 5G services in Varanasi, a village near Ahmedabad (Gujarat) on October 1, 2022.                       

L&T Technology Services – The company has announced that it is collaborating with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. to deploy end-to-end solutions for the global 5G private network industry utilising its combined core expertise in the hi-tech & telecommunication domain. Both companies will bring together core competencies in telecommunication solutions & services for the benefit of end customers in the manufacturing and warehousing/logistics sector.    

Coforge – The company has announced the opening of its new office in the city of Hyderabad. The new office will host the centre of excellence for low code/no code (LCNC) application development on Pega & Appian platforms, Salesforce, and digital horizontal. the LCNC technologies are a major driver of hyper-growth for the company.   

Vodafone Idea – The company has offered clarity on the discussion with Indus Towers for softer payment terms, which are continuing, but have not been concluded as yet.
