Overnight Digest: These Small cap stocks will be in focus on Monday

The frontline indices marched forward ahead of Fed’s Jackon Hole summit even as European markets trade in green while the US Futures trade in green on Friday.  

While the BSE Metal Index shined with NALCO & Hindalco taking the lead the BSE Capital Goods Index outperformed the most by gaining more than 2 per cent on Friday as the heavyweight L&T gained by more than 2 per cent. HAL and ABB India were the top BSE Capital Goods Gainers on Friday. 

BSE Sensex soared by more than 100 points with Ultratech Cement, LT and Dr Reddy’s being the top BSE Sensex gainers. BSE Sensex managed to close above the important 56k levels on Friday. Several small cap stocks were seen trading higher on Friday as the BSE SmallCap Index outperformed the frontline index by gaining more than 0.8 per cent.  

Following small caps will be in focus on Monday next week:  

Price Volume Breakout: Sudarshan Chemicals, Laxmi Organic Industries, South Indian Bank, Zen Technolgies, Subex and Jain Irrigation are some of the small-cap stocks that gained with spike in volumes on Friday. These small caps will be in focus on Monday next week.  

52-week High: 8k Miles Software, Karnataka Bank, Raj Oil Mills, Thirumalai Chemicals, Anmol India and Shanti Gears are some of the trending small-caps that made fresh 52-week highs for themselves.  

CAMS: The share price of CAMS was seen gaining with volumes on Friday trading session even as CAMS moves closer to its 52-week highs. The stock has gained by more than 12 per cent this week alone, that is after falling by almost 13 per cent from its 52-week highs. The long green candle body with the stock trading above the key short-term moving averages indicates that the bulls are in control. CAMS will be watched carefully on Monday next week.  

3i Infotech: The share price of 3i Infotech gained by 5 per cent on Friday. With the gains on Friday the stock is up by an impressive 20 per cent this week. The stock will be watched carefully on Monday.

Jubilant Ingrevia: After falling by close to 20 per cent in the previous week the share price of Jubilant Ingrevia jumped by nearly 10 per cent in the current week. The share price of Jubilant gained by more than 1 per cent on Friday and managed to make a bullish crossover of 9D SMA. This signals a positive near-term trend in Jubilant Ingrevia. Jubilant Ingrevia will be watched out for on Monday trading session.
