Overnight Digest: These small caps will be in focus tomorrow
TVS Electronics, Madhya Bharat Agro Products, Poddar Housing and Development, Mahalaxmi Rubtech, Advani Hotels & Resorts, AVT Natural Products, TCPL Packaging and Sejal Glass made a fresh 52-week high today.
On Tuesday, Indian equity markets staged a decent recovery after yesterday’s heavy sell-off. Frontline indices Nifty 50 and Sensex climbed 0.31 per cent and 0.33 per cent, closing the session at 17,266.80 and 57,808.58, respectively. BSE Small-cap index underperformed broader markets, slipping 1.40 per cent and closing at 29,068.03.

Goldiam International – The company has announced its results for the nine months ended on December 31, 2021. Thanks to its unique business model, design capabilities, backward‐integrated presence in lab‐grown diamonds coupled with omni-channel manufacturing service and digital initiatives, the Company recorded its highest ever nine‐month sales in 9MFY22.
Consolidated revenue during 9MFY22 grew by 97 per cent YoY to Rs 5,53.9 crore due to improved consumer sentiments with a return of in‐store shoppers to retail outlets leading to higher US jewellery demand from retailers & end customers. Consolidated adjusted PAT for 9MFY22 also recorded a growth of 97 per cent YoY to Rs 83.1 crore reflecting overall business efficiency.
Texmaco Rail and Engineering – The company has announced financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2021. The gross revenue for Q3FY22 stood at Rs 479.72 crore, EBIDTA at Rs 45.13 crore, profit before tax (PBT) at Rs 10.71 crore and after a provision of Rs 9.13 crore for deferred tax liability, a net profit at Rs 1.58 crore as against gross revenue of Rs 463.01 crore, EBIDTA of Rs 53.66 crore, PBT of Rs 17.87 crore and net profit of Rs. 18.08 crore respectively in the corresponding quarter of FY 20-21.
The Government's plan to prioritize the multi-modal connectivity between mass urban transport and rail network, as part of the PM Gati Shakti scheme would open new opportunities both in railway manufacturing and service sectors. This would certainly boost the prospects of the company, which is present in most of the rail-related segments.
