Overnight Digest: These small caps will be in focus on Wednesday

SBC Exports, Precision Camshafts, GSS Infotech, Jindal Worldwide, Sutlej Textiles and Industries and NRB Bearing made a fresh 52-week high today.

On Tuesday, Indian equity markets staged a decent recovery in the second half of the trading session. BSE Sensex ended the day at 58,664.3 with gains of 0.34 per cent i.e. 198.44 points. Power Grid Corp, NTPC, Tata Steel and Bharti Airtel were among the top gainers of the headline index, BSE Small-cap index jumped 1.81 per cent to close at 28,450.31.  

The following small-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Wednesday:   

Ashiana Housing – The company has announced that it has entered into a development agreement for the construction and development of a group housing project at Pudishilli, Rugri, Anchal Chandil, District Saraikella Kharswan, Jharkhand. The potential saleable area of the proposed project is approximately 3,88,000 (Three lakhs eighty-eight thousand) square feet. The company’s core business model is to buy land and turn it into a residential building and sell it.  

Rushil Décor – The company has informed that their Medium Density Fibre Board Manufacturing Unit (MDF Plant) at Chikmagalur, Karnataka will remain close for a further period of approximately ten days due to heavy rain and unavoidable situation. It was earlier informed that the said plant would remain temporarily closed for 45 days from October 9, 2021, due to planned preventive maintenance activities as well as to replace some of the parts at the plant. However, the company is presently doing pre-lam manufacturing activities at the said plant.  

Ganga Forging – The company has recently announced that it has received an order for the export of goods manufactured by the company to a customer based in New Jersey, US aggregating to USD 1,22,661.
