Overnight Digest: These small caps will be in focus on Wednesday

Frontline indices Nifty and Sensex ended flat losing 0.09 per cent and 0.03 per cent respectively on Tuesday, September 7 2021. BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices underperformed the benchmarks. The small-cap index fell by 116.63 points i.e., 0.42 per cent to end at 27,350.03. Arman Financial Services, Neogen Chemicals, Dish TV, Zen Technologies and V2 Retail were top mall cap gainers. Ujjivan Financial, Liberty Shoes and Triveni Turbine were top losers. Sobha and Prestige Estate lost more than 6 per cent each.    

Following small-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Wednesday:   

Thomas Cook India – The company along with its group company SOTC have introduced ‘Bike Trips’. They will provide exciting 5–12-night bike trips of Manali, Leh, Srinagar, Siliguri, Gangtok, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur, Bengaluru, Madikeri, Ooty, Sethumadai, Kodaikanal, Rameshwaram, Yercaud, etc. with pricing starting from Rs 24,990.00 per person.  

Snowman Logistics - The company has completed the construction of a temperature-controlled warehouse at Siliguri. The total capacity of the facility is 4032 pallets. The facility will mainly cater to the storage, transportation and handling of seafood, ice cream, dairy products, ready-to-eat food, quick service restaurants, confectionery & bakery products, fruits & vegetables, pharma, and other products. They have also built an e-commerce backend fulfilment centre for food and grocery in Mumbai. The facility is already operational. It is a 54,000 sqft warehouse with a freezer, chiller, ambient storage with various value-added facilities.  

Birlasoft – The company has announced a strategic partnership with Freshworks aimed at helping enterprises provide enhanced customer experience management services to customers through new-age digital transformation solutions.  

Dhruv Consultancy Services – The company has received a Letter of Award (LOA) for the Consultancy Services for Authority’s Engineer for Supervision for Delhi-Saharanpur-Dehradun Economic Corridor under Bharatmala Pariyojana on EPC Mode.  

Neogen Chemicals – The company has commenced Phase 1 commercial production/operations for manufacturing of organic chemicals at full scale at their facility situated at Dahej SEZ, Gujarat.   

52-week High Stocks – Arman Financial Services, Zen technologies, Mcdowell Holdings, Panacea Biotech and Lincoln Pharma made a fresh 52 week high today. These stocks will likely be in focus on Wednesday, 7 September 2021.
