Overnight Digest: These small caps will be in focus on Tuesday

Kingfa Science & Technology (India), Manaksia Aluminium Company, Smartlink Holdings, Lokesh Machines, Global Vectra Helicorp, Kabra Extrusion Technik and Gravita India made a fresh 52-week high today.

On Monday, frontline equity benchmark indices Nifty 50 and Sensex ended in the green territory with gains of 0.49 per cent and 0.52 per cent, closing the first trading session of the week at 17,086.30 and 57,420.24 respectively. BSE Small-cap index recorded gains of 0.52 per cent i.e. 148.37 points, ending the session at 28,514.92.

The following small-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Tuesday: 

XTGlobal Infotech – The company has announced the receipt of a signed and certified copy of the order issued by the National Company Law Tribunal, Hyderabad Bench regarding the merger of M/s Xenosoft Technologies (India) Private Limited (wholly owned subsidiary) with XTGlobal Infotech Limited. The consolidation of businesses into one corporate entity would result in operational synergies for the group and also for simplification of corporate structure and reduction of legal entities which will result in an overall reduction in administrative, managerial and other expenditure and optimum utilization of various resources. 

The amalgamation will enable the company to diversify into high growth and profitable areas of business without any gestation The combined entity would result in improved cash flows, increased net worth, better credit rating, and thereby strengthening the value of all the stakeholders of the company. 

RattanIndia Enterprises – The company has announced the appointment of Amitav Panigrahi as Chief Executive Officer of its fintech business in Neotec Enterprises Ltd (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company). Amitav Panigraphi is a veteran banker and was previously working as President — Digital Transformation, Strategic Alliances and Fintech Partnerships in his last stint at Yes Bank. He brings with him a deep knowledge of financial products and digital solutions in the sector. He possesses expertise in setting and scaling up businesses, digital transformations and is proficient in managing large retail assets, business banking, wealth management and branch banking franchise.
