Overnight Digest: These small caps will be in focus on Tuesday

Bank stocks thrust to limelight with stellar Q2FY22 earnings reported by ICICI Bank. BSE Mid-cap and Small-cap lost 1.65 per cent and 1.76 per cent respectively. 

On Monday, Indian markets broke 4-day losing streak to end in the green territory. Sensex jumped 145.43 points i.e. 0.24 per cent to end at 60,967. Frontline index Nifty ended flat by gaining only 0.06 per cent. Bank stocks thrust to limelight with stellar Q2FY22 earnings reported by ICICI Bank. BSE Mid-cap and Small-cap lost 1.65 per cent and 1.76 per cent respectively. 

The following small-cap and mid-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Tuesday:  

Ramkrishna Forgings – The company has recently announced that it has been awarded a business in the driveline segment from a leading Scandinavian Automotive OEM. The company is seeing an increased interest from various customers globally for our products because of its quality, consistency and new orders being entrusted. Their foray into the European market has reaped rich dividends over the last couple of years and the company is confident that this trajectory to continue in future.

Nile Limited – Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board, on October 23, 2021, gave ‘Consent and Authorization Order’ permitting the company to operate its Tirupathi lead recycling plant at its expanded capacity of 75,000 tons per annum. Combined with the Choutuppal plant's 32,000 tons per annum, the company's total lead recycling capacity stands at 1,07,000 tons per annum. 

Ugar Sugar Works – The company has announced that their sugar crushing for the season 2021-22 at the Ugar unit has slowly started on October 21, 2021. The crushing at the company’s Jewargi unit will start by October 28, 2021, and the same will pick up shortly to its capacity. 

52-week High Stocks – Arihant Foundations and Housing, Ambika Cotton Mills, Art Nirman, Jindal Photo, Tanla Platforms and Tilaknagar Industries made a fresh 52-week high today. These small-cap stocks will likely be in focus on Tuesday, October 26, 2021.
