Overnight Digest: These small caps will be in focus on Tuesday

On Monday, headline indices Nifty and Sensex ended in the red territory losing 1.07 per cent and 0.89 per cent respectively. BSE Smallcap index fell by 1.84 per cent, further underperforming broader markets. HLE Glascoat, Neogen Chemicals, RPSG Ventures, Royal Orchid Hotels and Apollo Pipes were top gainers of the index. Whereas BLS International, NALCO and GTPL Hathaway were top losers. 

The following small-cap and mid-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Tuesday:  

RPP Infra Projects - The company has secured new orders worth Rs 157.67 crore. The letter of acceptance is for Engineering, Procurement and Construction of Bareilly Haat and Handicraft Centre Mission with one-year defect liability under smart city mission. 

DJ Mediaprint and Logistics – The company recently announced that it has been empanelled with UC Divisional Office, Jabalpur for the years 2021-2024 for various printing services. 

Welspun Corp – The company has announced that it has received multiple orders of approximately 120 Kilo Metric Tonne (KMT) valuing close to Rs 1,400 crore. The majority of these orders will be executed from the company’s facilities in India. This also includes a significant and very prestigious export order for a deep offshore pipeline project (of approximately 59 KMT) in the Gulf-of-Mexico, USA. Currently, the company’s order book stands at 492 KMT valued at approximately Rs 4,700 crore, after considering execution up to August 2021. 

Bigbloc Construction – The company has partnered with SCG International Corporation by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the purpose of marketing Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) panels and other building materials. Through this collaboration, BIGBLOC expects to create a foundation for its business development in the new product AAC Panels, along with other products as well, with the help of SCG. The company also plans to begin the pre-marketing phase of SCG’s products. 

NCL Industries – The company has entered into a joint venture agreement with Moravia Containers A.S. of the Czech Republic to set up a joint venture company for the manufacture of Modular Containers & Systems and other products. The agreement provides for equity participation of 74.9 per cent by NCL Industries and its affiliates in the joint venture company. 

52-week High Stocks – HLE Glascoat, Neogen Chemicals, RPSG Ventures, Royal Orchid Hotels, Apollo Pipes, Indian Hotels and GMR Infrastructure have made a fresh 52-week high today. These stocks will likely be in focus on Tuesday, September 21, 2021.
