Overnight Digest: These small caps will be in focus on Tuesday

Headline indices Nifty and Sensex ended the day in red, losing 0.08 per cent and 0.22 per cent respectively.  From the Nifty index Coal India, Hindalco, BPCL and TCS were top gainers. While, Reliance, ICICI Bank, HUL and HDFC Bank were top losers. The BSE Mid-cap and Small-cap indices ourperformed the broader markets by ending the day with gains of 0.32 per cent and 0.80 per cent respectively. 

The following mid-cap and small-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Tuesday: 

 SpiceJet  The company has announced that it has commercially agreed on a settlement with CDB Aviation, another major lessor of MAX aircraft. This will add to the already announced settlement with Avolon and grow its fleet of 737 MAX aircraft. The airline expects to start operations of MAX aircraft around the end of September 2021, subject to regulatory approvals. 

MAS Financial Services – The company has partnered with CredAvenue for their co-lending platform. They intend to utilize the platform for partnering with multiple originators and also plans to utilize the full-stack discovery, credit, operations, and risk management modules available on CredAvenue's co-lending platform. 

APL Apollo Tubes  The Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trademarks has recently granted six registrations to the innovative products of APL Apollo Tubes Limited. With these fresh registrations, the overall portfolio for APL Apollo Tubes now stands at 16. The company has more than 50 per cent market share and a production capacity of 2.6 million tons. 

Advanced Enzyme Technologies  The company has announced that its systemic enzyme and probiotic supplements—ImmunoSEB and ProbioSEB CSC3 have passed the promising stages of randomized controlled clinical trials in terms of efficacy to resolve post‐COVID fatigue symptoms.   

 Granules India – Granules USA, Inc., a wholly-owned foreign subsidiary of the company has announced that it is voluntarily recalling one batch of Naproxen Sodium 220mg tablets at a retail level due to a minor “CGMP deviation”. One batch has 11.4 million units of Naproxen tablets, out of which 0.9 million units that were released into the market were recalled. However, the company said in a filing with the exchange that “Financially, this does not have a material impact on the company.” 

Aurionpro Solutions  The company has announced a significant order win in the smart city segment from M.P Police Radio, the department of Madhya Pradesh Police. The order, valued at more than Rs 38 crore is to be served over three years. It covers the comprehensive annual operation and maintenance of integrated City Surveillance Systems for the eleven cities of Madhya Pradesh. 

52-week High Stocks – Cantabil Retail India, Action Construction Equipment, Deep Industries, Fineotex Chemicals, Goldiam International, Apcotex Industries and Dynamatic Technologies have made a fresh 52-week high today. These stocks will likely be in focus Tuesday, September 14, 2021.
