Overnight Digest: These small caps will be in focus on Tuesday
Sensex gained 0.29 per cent and ended at 58,296.91, while the BSE Smallcap index climbed by 0.59 per cent during the day ending at 27,466.66. Liberty shoes, Jindal worldwide and Cantabil retail froze at 20 per cent upper circuit. Vakrangee, Prestige Estates and Caplin Point Laboratories were up by more than 13 per cent on Monday 6 September 2021.
Following small-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Tuesday:
Gujarat Sidhee Cement – The cement plant of the company at Sidheegram has planned to take annual maintenance shutdown of the Clinker Unit for annual maintenance routine job for a period of 17 to 20 days. However, cement grinding, and dispatches will be continued. Keep a close watch on this stock on Tuesday.
Action Construction Equipment – The Board has approved raising of funds by issuance of securities by way of private offerings, QIP and/or any combination thereof for an aggregate amount of upto Rs 175 crore.
Ashapura Minechem – The company has been mining and exporting ores from its local subsidiaries in Guinea since April 2020. With the political developments in Conakry, (the capital of Guinea) since September 5, 2021, they are monitoring the situation closely. The company’s sites are located away from the capital Conakry and operations including mining and transportation continue to be normal. All the employees of the Ashapura Group, including Indian expatriates in Guinea, remain safe and are in contact with the company.
