Overnight Digest: These small caps will be in focus on Thursday
On Wednesday, forntline indices Nifty 50 and Sensex closed in the red territory at 17,213.60 and 57,806.49, down by 0.11 per cent and 0.16 per cent respectively. BSE Small-cap index outperformed broader markets, climbing by 0.49 per cent to close at 29,066.3.

Bigbloc Construction – The company has announced that the successful completion of a virtual joint venture agreement signing ceremony with SCG International. This joint venture is to set up a strong relationship between Thailand’s second-largest company and also the largest and oldest cement and building material company, SCG and India’s leading concrete brick and block manufacturing company Bigbloc Construction Limited, with a former having a 48 per cent stake and latter having 52 per cent of stake in the JV. This also includes a set-up for manufacturing and distribution of the patented product AAC block and panels in Gujarat.
Easy Trip Planners – The company has announced the appointment of ace actors Vijay Raaz and Varun Sharma as brand ambassadors. This is the first time where EaseMyTrip has appointed any brand ambassadors and also, Vijay Raaz and Varun Sharma are coming together as a duo for any brand campaign. The actors with their mass appeal and strong connection with the audience will complement the brand’s image of Ease My Trip.
52-week High Stocks – Shiva Mills, HB Stockholdings, Hindcon Chemicals, Manaksia, Kilitch Drugs (India), Sharda Motor Industries and Websol Energy System made a fresh 52-week high today.
